The Rainbow Trees project was also created by our Tweens, as this fun loving group posed with their works on display. Using liquefied chalk paint, the tree bark was painted, in addition to some of the sidewalks, creating almost a Dr. Seuss type scene in the small courtyard to the north of the library. This is only a temporary paint job, and will wash away with the first decent rain, so be sure to notice the colorful bark the next trip to the library. The youth participating it enjoyed it immensely and posed with coordinator Shelly Gruwell at the completion of their work!
