Forty-three senior citizens enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner catered by Harlan’s Deli. The coordinator was Mary Beck. Servers were Harriet Erickson and Bev Christenson.

Millie Olson celebrated her birthday and gave a donation to the Senior Citizen Center.

Ann Lovig was emcee. She introduced Bev Christenson who gave a humorous reading.

Virgie Sopeland from Arizona was a guest of Lois Hove.

Kalen Petersen told about the Senior Variety Show to be presented in Ames on Friday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. It will be held at the Ames City Auditorium. The public is invited to bring items for the local food pantry. Over 100 talented Story County performers ages 60+ will light up the stage through song, dance, and humor. Cost is $10 in advance and/or $12 at the door.

The menu for Wednesday, July 24 will be Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad.
