Applications are being accepted for the Des Moines Area Community College Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition. The competition is open to current DMACC students or DMACC alumni (completed 12 credit hours or more) who are operating a business in Iowa. The deadline to submit an application is May 18.
This is the fourth year of the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition. Previous winners include 2016, Dylan Book of Big Deal Car Care in Adel and Kelsi Ziemann of Kelsi Ziemann Artistry in Des Moines; 2015, Titan Immel of Upper Edge Ag LLC in Stanley; and 2014, John Ziebell of JPZ Products in Hubbard.
The winner of the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition will be announced at the DMACC Small Business Awards Dinner Sept. 14.
The award is made possible by a generous gift to the DMACC Foundation by an anonymous donor.
