Laura Ingalls Wilder enthusiast Sarah Uthoff will return to Roland to present her program A Day in a One Room School on Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at the Roland Public Library. Travel back to 1900 to experience a typical day in a one-room school just like Laura Ingalls Wilder. Anyone who attended a one room school, who loves the Little House books or simply loves history is welcome to attend.

Please contact the library at 388-4086 with any questions. The Roland Public Library is located at 221 N Main Street in Roland, Iowa, two blocks north of the stop sign on E-18.

This program has been funded by Humanities Iowa, a private, non‐profit state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. A cultural resource for Iowans since 1971, Humanities Iowa brings humanities programs into the heart of lowa communities. This program is also made possible to our community through a generous donation from the United Way of Story County, sponsoring all of the library’s 2017 paid programming.
