Roland Kiwanis invited the Ames Golden K Kiwanis group to hear Roland-Story High School agricultural science instructor, Brad Taylor, present the evening program. Taylor has taught Roland-Story youth for 39 years and has developed a broad range of activities for youth.

Among the 17 visiting Ames Kiwanians was Larry Trede, who had been Taylor’s professor at ISU in agricultural education. Roland member, Jim Hassebrock, recognized the value his own sons received in Taylor’s agricultural program during their high school years, as well as his own ISU ag education with Trede.
