The 90th Christian Baldus Family Reunion held Sunday, Aug. 13, at the newly remodeled Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, was attended by over 75 family members. It was the largest gathering in quite some time, according to Rachael Siebens, family secretary.

The reunion was made even more memorable with the attendance of Alma O’Donnel, age 97, woman in he middle of a photo, who remembered the very first reunion held at this location. Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church has been the family foundation for many years.

Family reunion traditions include: building the family tree by introduction and re-connection, lots of food and an ice cream sundae bar as a finale. A commemorative ice cream spade, engraved with the date and occasion, was made available as a souvenir for family members.
