The Story County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved HIRTA’s request to use the county’s social media platforms to promote its informational sessions it’ll hold around the county next month.

Late in September, the transit service will hold the educational sessions in Roland, Colo, Collins, Huxley, Slater and Zearing in an attempt to identify how HIRTA can better serve its riders in those towns. To promote the forums, HIRTA wants to use Story County’s social media channels, specifically its website and Facebook page.

HIRTA will provide the information and materials to post with Story County staff doing to actual posting. The dates for the informational sessions haven’t been finalized.
