Amnesty International will meet Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Rotary Room at the Ames Public Library. The group will discuss human rights issues and write letters on behalf of individuals whose human rights have been violated. The work is appropriate for high school age and older, but younger children are welcome in the meeting room. Bring a laptop or write letters by hand. Writing supplies, a printer and refreshments are provided. There are no dues or fees for this event.
