The Sons of the Legion are hosting a Kumla Feed at the Legion Hall on Saturday, Jan. 13. The dinner will start at 5 p.m. and will last until it’s sold out.

Annual Get Together
The GCC and EDC’s Annual Get Together is Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Story City Community Center. Christian concert in Ellsworth
Christian recording artist and worship leader Jillian Jones from Mankato, Minn., will be performing in concert at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth on Sunday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken at the concert that day. The church is located at 1629 Dewitt St. in Ellsworth.
This event has been cancelled: There’s a Bingo game in the upstairs of the American Legion Hall in Story City tonight (Jan. 10) from 6:30-8 p.m. The blackout jackpot is $140.

Stitch ‘n’ Knit

The Board of Trustees of the Story City Municipal Electric Utility will hold its next regular board meeting on Monday, Jan. 15, at 4 p.m. in the board room at the light plant, 505 Market Ave.
On Friday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m., at the Story City Community Center, people age 55 and over are invited to play bridge club and/or the card game “Hand and Foot.” No reservations or charge required, but a snack to share is appreciated.

The 19th annual Rosy Cheeks Fun Run/Walk will be held Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. Early bird registrations of $25 are now through Jan. 15. From Jan. 16 to race day, registration will be $30.
