Practical Farmers of Iowa is hosting a series of listening sessions for beginning farmers who have been farming for at least four years. PFI staff are eager to hear about the barriers these “advanced” beginning farmers face so they can provide proper programming to help them succeed.

One listening session will be held in Ames on March 20. All of the events take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., include a meal, and are free. Farmers from all enterprises are encouraged to attend. RSVPs are requested at
