MIDDLE SCHOOL SENIOR CITIZENS DINNER RESCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY

The Roland-Story Middle School will host the re-scheduled Senior Citizens Dinner on Friday, Jan. 31 at 11:30 a.m. The students and staff will be serving a free meal and providing entertainment at the middle school in Roland. Invitations have been sent out, but if you did not receive one please contact the middle school office at 388-4348. RSVPs were due by Friday, Jan. 24.

WILD GAME FEED FEBRUARY 1 AT AMES MOOSE LODGE

The 14th Annual Wild Game Feed will be held at the Moose Lodge on Highway 69 Saturday, Feb. 1 from 5 p.m. to close. A free will donation will be taken. Families are welcome. A DJ will be playing music until closing time, with various raffles held throughout the evening.

STORY CITY AMERICAN LEGION KUMLA FEED TO BE HELD SATURDAY

The Story City Sons of the American Legion will host an all-you-can-eat Kumla Feed on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the legion hall from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $8.00 per person.

STORY CITY AMERICAN LEGION TO HOLD SUPER SUNDAY PARTY

The Story City American Legion will hold a Super Sunday Party in conjunction with the big game on Sunday, Feb. 2. Doors open at 12 noon, with the game scheduled for 5:30 p.m. A potluck will be served. The public is welcome.

SEMINARS ON AGING TO BE HELD

The Roland-Story Ministerial Association and Bethany Life will be hosting seminars on aging issues throughout the month of February. The first session will be "A Primer on Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease". The session will be held Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Story City Public Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

ELIM YOUTH GROUP TO HOST YOUTH LED SUNDAY FEBRUARY 2

The Elim Youth Group of Elim Lutheran Church in Randall will host an annual Youth Led Sunday on February 2. The church service will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a soup luncheon, silent pie auction and live quilt auction to follow. All proceeds from the fund raiser will go toward their mission trip to Jackson, Mississippi.
