Please join Harvest E-Free Church, 524 River Hills Drive, in celebrating unchanging love in an ever-changing world with the special program "Christmas is Forever" on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m. This is a fun, musical medley showing the excitement that children experience about Christmas. MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITY BOARD MEETING
The Board of Trustees of the Story City Municipal Electric Utility will hold their next regular board meeting on Monday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m. in the board room at the light plant, 505 Market Avenue.
STORY THEATER GRAND OPERA HOUSE
TO CELEBRATE 100 YEARS!
The Story Theater Grand Opera House in Story City will be 100 years old this December and to commemorate this special milestone owner Todd Thorson, along with Veronica Skaar, Paul Wierson (MC) and other members of Judge Story’s Theatrical Troupe, will be presenting a special variety concert/gala on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the Story City Herald, 511 Broad Street, or the Story Theater, 512 Broad Street. Prices are $40 per person or $70 per couple and the proceeds go to the Story Theater Historical Foundation and the digital conversion project. There is a pre-performance social gathering at 5:30 p.m. planned prior to the show at Dinners by Dawn and post-performance festivities following the concert with birthday cake and refreshments. Plan now to attend.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SENIOR CITIZENS DINNER

The Roland-Story Middle School is celebrating the holiday season with our Senior Citizens by serving a free meal and providing entertainment at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at the middle school in Roland. Invitations were sent out in November, but if you did not receive one please contact the middle school office at 388-4348. RSVPs are due by Friday, Dec. 13 by calling 388-4348.
