The weather is getting colder so please make sure your child has appropriate winter clothing. All students will go out for recess unless there is a dangerous wind chill. Please make sure your child has a warm coat, snow pants, hat, mittens and snow boots. It’s also a good idea to send some extra socks with your child to keep in their backpack.
Please also remember to keep your kids home when they are sick. Students need to be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to school. They also need to be free of vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. Please remind your children about the important of good hand washing and the importance of covering their mouth when they cough. Also make sure they are eating a well-balanced and healthy diet, and getting plenty of sleep.
If your child needs to take medication at school please make sure all medicine is sent in the original container. All medications must have a note from a parent with directions on how much medicine is to be given and when.
