Dear Editor:

Every day is a different kind of exciting at Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, but we couldn’t keep that excitement going year after year without support from the United Way of Story County.

With the support of the United Way, girls in Story County learn to be G.I.R.L.s (Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, Leaders) by accomplishing something new and challenging together. Girl Scouts shows girls that they can be whoever they want to be; they have what it takes to change the world.

Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low. Every year since 1912, we’ve honored her vision and legacy, building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Thank you for being a community partner by investing in the United Way of Story County. With your support, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure and success.
