Roland-Story’s girls’ track team came in third place at the coed meet in Nevada on April 6.
Emily Stewart earned a first-place win in the high jump with a jump of 4 feet 8 inches. Rachel Patton placed third with a height of 4 feet 6 inches.
Juliann Clark placed third in the long jump with a jump of 15 feet 3.5 inches, and Kim Hendrian placed sixth with 12 feet 11 inches.
Kylie Tjernagel placed second in the 800-meter run, and Hailey Louw placed fifth.
Lynette Wuebker came in third and Amy Rathmaker ninth in the 100-meter dash.
Taryn Johnston placed third and Pressly Parker eighth in the 200-meter dash.
In the 400-meter dash, Jenna Clark and Angela Beyer placed ninth and 10th, respectively.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Sydney Lively placed eighth and Rachel Patton placed 10th.
Kaitlyn Kilstofte and Taryn Perry placed seventh and eighth in the 1,500-meter run. Perry placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run, and Kaitlyn Strobl placed seventh.
In the 4x100 relay, Roland-Story placed third with a team of Juliann Clark, Anne Wilgenbusch, Taryn Johnston and Lynette Wuebker. This same group of girls placed second in the 4x200 relay.
The 4x400 relay team — Maddy Arthur, Angela Harestead, Jenna Clark and MaKayla Geise — placed fifth.
In the 4x800 relay, Juliann Clark, Kaitlyn Kilstofte, Hailey Louw and Kylie Tjernagel, placed second.
Pressley Parker, Anne Wilgenbusch, Taryn Johnston and Lynette Wuebker placed second in the 800-meter spring medley relay.
The Norse placed fourth in the 400-meter shuttle hurdle relay with teammates Cora Twedt, Sydney Lively, Emily Berggren and Rachel Patton.
R-S placed fifth in the 1,600-meter distance medley relay, which was run by Pressly Parker, Jillian Lykins, MaKayla Geise and Angela Harestead.
The Norse finished with 63.5 points. Pella placed first with 141.5, Gilbert 85.5, St. Edmond 59.5 and Nevada 43.2.
