An early lead helped Roland-Story’s baseball team defeat Collins-Maxwell-Baxter 5-1 on Friday, June 16. The Norsemen scored on a home run by Zach Shadlow in the first inning, a home run by Nathan Bell in the first inning and a walk by Jake Ford in the second inning.

Roland-Story captured the lead in the first inning. Shadlow drove in two when he homered in the first inning.

Another home run for Roland-Story came from Nathan Bell in the first inning.

Jake Ford went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Norsemen in hits.

Vs. Colo-NESCO

An early lead helped the Norsemen defeat Colo-NESCO 8-1 on Thursday, June 15. Roland-Story scored on a single by Nathan Bell, a single by Caleb Schlatter and a walk by Nick Stole in the first inning.

Roland-Story took an early lead in the first inning. Nathan Bell drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

Roland-Story scored four runs in the fourth inning. The team scored its runs on a grand slam by Bell.

The Norsemen had nine hits in the game. Jake Ford and Bell each managed two hits for Roland-Story.


Roland-Story watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 2-1 loss to PCM on Wednesday, June 14. PCM took the lead on a single in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. PCM pitchers struck out seven, while Roland-Story sat down nine

PCM took an early lead in the second inning. With one out in the second inning Van Dyke drove in one run when he singled.
