The girls’ varsity team placed ninth of 13 teams at the invitational at South Hamilton on Thursday, Oct. 5.

“We were happy to have all of our varsity runners back for this year, but again, this was a very competitive meet,” said coach Brad Dedic.

Kylie Tjernagel, Theresa Haskin and Kaitlyn Kilstofte were the top three finishers for the ladies and all finshed in under 23:00.

Emma Auld and Grace Teig continue to improve with season highs and finishing in the scoring varsity. Taryn Perry and Natalie Omundson finished out the varsity runners for the ladies. Angela Harestad was the top finisher for the JV team.

“Maddie Stevenson was able to run her first meet after coming back from an ACL repair over the summer, so we are happy to add another runner to our ladies roster,” Dedic said. “We are hoping to have a great turnout on Monday on the same course for the conference meet. It’s hard to believe the season is almost over!”
