Farmers and those who advise farmers may be interested in attending the Agronomy Lunch and Learn on Monday, Feb. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Nevada.

Have you heard of the new corn disease tar spot or the new insect pest the soybean gall midge? Do you have questions about interpreting your soil test results?

Meaghan Anderson, ISU Extension and Outreach field agronomist for central Iowa, and Carrie Dodds, Iowa Corn Growers Association District 5 field manager, will have helpful resources for planning for 2019 and will lead a discussion on how ISU Extension and Outreach might help you answer these questions and more in 2019 and future years.

Sponsored by ISU Extension and Outreach and the Iowa Corn Growers Association, this meeting and lunch is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to Story Extension at 515-382-6551 at least three days prior to the event as seating is limited.
