The Touch of Grace bell choir concert was well attended on April 14. We were so pleased with the turnout, and because of people’s generosity at the concert and donations given earlier this spring, we are now able to send four octaves of our bells to be refurbished. The original plan was to have the oldest three octaves refurbished, which have been used for over 40 years.

For the bells to be refurbished, they will be sent back to the place they are manufactured. Schulmerich bells are manufactured in Pittsburgh, Penn. They will replace all of the inside works which includes new clappers, new discs, new handles and a professional polishing, so any nicks or scratches will be gone. The bells will look brand new when they come back.
