Schnurr & Company, LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, recently released an audit report on Roland-Story Community School District in Story City.

The district’s revenues totaled $15,224,472 for the year ended June 30, 2019, a 1.5 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included $6,223,626 of local tax, charges for services of $1,988,182, operating grants and contributions of $2,147,775, unrestricted interest of $56,728 and other revenues of $4,808,211.

Expenses for district operations for the year ended June 30, 2019, totaled $18,293,371, a 7.7 percent decrease from the prior year. Expenses included $8,660,828 for instruction, $1,074,752 for administration and $966,155 for operation and maintenance of plant.
