STORY CITY — The Roland-Story boys’ golf team turned in its best score of the season to edge Ogden in a dual meet April 25 at the River Bend Golf Course in Story City.

Roland-Story shot a 169 over nine holes. Ogden finished with a 171.

Nick Stole won medalist and Ryan Streit placed third individually for the Norsemen. Stole shot a 39 and Streit a 42.

Braydon Flattebo and Steven Berends both carded a 44 to turn in the final counted scores for Roland-Story. Sam Skaar finished with a 48 and Joe Hovick a 52.

Final team scores (nine holes): 1. Roland-Story 169, 2. Ogden 171.

POLK CITY — Roland-Story took second in a quadrangular meet at the Tournament Club of Iowa April 23 in Polk City.

Roland-Story shot a 185 over nine holes to beat Saydel by six strokes and South Hamilton by 10. North Polk won with a 171.

Ryan Streit led the Norsemen with a third-place overall score of 42. Steven Berends shot a 47, and Sam Skaar and Nick Stole each finished with a 48 to round out the Roland-Story scoring.

Braydon Flattebo and Joe Hovick also competed for the Norsemen. Flattebo scored a 52 and Hovick a 53.

Final team scores (nine holes): 1. North Polk 171, 2. Roland-Story 185, 3. Saydel 191, 4. South Hamilton 195.
