Story Theater to conclude 100th Anniversary season with special concert

Story Theatre’s 100th anniversary season will conclude on Thursday, December 18th with a concert featuring award-winning singer-songwriter, Daniel Christian. In addition to his original songs and stories, the Nashville recording artist will also share some familiar holiday-themed music appropriate for the season.

Christian has performed at Nashville’s Bluebird Café, Walt Disney World, and the SXSW Festival. He has opened for Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry, and Kenny Rogers. This year, he completed a coast-to-coast tour of the United States.

Judge Story’s Theatrical Troup and Director Veronica Skaar will also present a preview of “Little Shop of Horrors”, which will be presented next year during Scandinavian Days (June 3-7).

The Story Theatre first opened on December 18th, 1913 and will be 101 years old this December. The Grand Opera House is proud to host Daniel Christian in concert at 7p.m., Thursday, December 18th 2014. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
