LifeServe Blood Center is looking for healthy, volunteer blood donors to make life-saving blood donations. As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, it is important to remember the many hospital patients who rely on blood donations for medical treatment. You can give thanks for your good health by donating blood and saving lives.

Please plan to give your life-saving gift at the following blood drive(s):

Nevada High School & Community Blood Drive, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Nevada High School, 1001 15th Street.

Colo Community Blood Drive, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM at Colo-NESCO High School, 919 West Street.

Bethany Life Communities Blood Drive, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM at Bethany Manor, 212 Lafayette.

McCallsburg & Zearing Communities Blood Drive, Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at McCallsburg American Legion Hall, 4th Street.

The Blood Center of Iowa joined operations with Siouxland Community Blood Bank in April, 2010 to become LifeServe Blood Center. As one of the 15th largest blood centers in the country, LifeServe Blood Center provides blood and blood products to more than 100 hospitals located across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. LifeServe is committed to saving lives by providing premier service to volunteer blood donors and access to a safe, quality blood supply for hospitals and patients. Eligible blood donors must be at least 16 years old, should weigh at least 120 pounds and should be in general good health.
