Forty-four senior citizens enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Harlan’s Deli. Coordinator was Millie Olson. Servers were Margaret Peter and Carolyn Mabee.

Bev Christenson, Margaret Thompson, Phyllis Olson and Neva Jean Jacobson celebrated their birthdays. Donations and ice cream were furnished by the birthday people.

Guest speaker Tara Carlson from Bethany Life talked to us about the renovations being planned for Bethany Manor - “A Better Life - Building for Tomorrow”. The project will cost $15 million and will improve the quality of life by using a neighborhood concept. In April there will be a ground breaking and a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Bethany Manor. They plan on having it finished by 2016. It will be done in four phases.

The menu for Wednesday, December 4, will be Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Menu for December 11 will be fried chicken, potatoes and gravy and vegetables. For reservations or cancellations call 733-9278 by Monday.
