• The R-S elementary held their CHARACTER COUNTS! kickoff assembly on October 7. Their guest speaker was Mr. Matt Patton, the new school superintendent. He read the book “Filling Our Buckets”. He shared with us how we all have buckets of good feelings. When others share kind things or words, it fills our buckets. If mean words or actions are done to us, our buckets lose good feelings and our buckets can be empty. We also learned that we fill our own buckets in good words and actions toward others. We will be working at filling our buckets with good behaviors and also classes will be working on good class behaviors for the Wall of Good Character! Thank you, Mr. Patton for inspiring our good character!
