Animal Science class studies anatomy
The Roland-Story Animal Science class members Will McGraw and Jacob Sterle are involved in the study of animal anatomy as a portion of the Advanced Animal Science class.
The students are using the CASE (curriculum for agricultural science education) Animal Science curriculum in which they are learning about the internal and external anatomy of animals.
According to Brad Taylor, RS Agriculture Instructor, “In this lesson, students examine common external parts and complete a series of dissections of internal systems found in animals. This knowledge will be important for later lessons and activities that will build on and apply it to practical animal production and health care situations.”
