Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames held a holiday bazaar on Wednesday, December 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in North Addition Rooms ABC. All proceeds from the bazaar benefitted the Iowa Donor Network.

A large array of fresh baked goods was available, which included cookies, brownies, snack mixes and pies. There were also be a large number of things to bid on in the silent auction, including: Iowa/Iowa State items, baby items, Pampered Chef, Silpada and much, much more.

Last year, this event raised over $1,000 which was given to a recent organ transplant recipient. This year, funds will once again be used to help an organ transplant recipient. A percentage of the proceeds will also be put toward personal care bags that are given to families of donors during their hospital stay.
