Altrusa of Ames service awards presented to Roland-Story students

Altrusa of Ames, International, Inc. annually recognizes high school students who have demonstrated a commitment to serving the community throughout their high school years. The Altrusa High School Service Awards for 2016 went to Brooke Ehrenberg on May 9th and Emily Krull on June 14, both are graduates of Roland Story High School. Both women have participated in many school, church and community service programs, working with youth and seniors. Brooke and Emily both received checks for $500 to assist them in their college plans.

Scholarships are provided through community fundraising event such as the Steppin’ Out Style Show. Don’t miss the Home Holiday Tour December 3rd and 4th, 2016. Altrusa International of Ames is service organization and recognizes the efforts of our youth in making a difference in their community.
