Judge Story’s Theatrical Troupe to hold auditions for summer musical
Judge Story’s Theatrical Troupe (JSTT) will hold auditions in Story City for the 2019 summer musical, “Children of Eden.”
Auditions will be held Saturday, March 2, from 1 to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 3, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Call-back auditions will be held March 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Auditions will be held in the JSTT rehearsal space above Dinners by Dawn, located at 516 Broad St. in Story City.
Those auditioning are asked to bring a musical theatre song to perform. Piano accompaniment will be provided.
Performances will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, as well as Thursday through Sunday, June 6 through 9. Roles are available for both adults and children.
“Children of Eden” is a two-act production with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by John Caird. It is based on the Book of Genesis, with Act I telling the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden while Act II focuses on Noah and the Flood.
