Professive Dinner held in downtown Story City

The Annual Taste of Iowa Progressive Dinner was held Wednesday evening, August 20, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Story City. Over 15 businesses took part, offering a wide selection of menu items, from meatballs and Maid-rites to sweet corn and pulled pork sliders. Pictured in the first photo are some of the local residents who enjoyed the many offerings at the dinner. There were also various delicacies for dessert, including ice cream, as evidenced by some of the children who also enjoyed the event, in the other accompanying photo. Businesses taking part included Pete Tekippe Photography, Central Iowa Carpet Care, Story City Floral, Royal Cafe, Affordables, Romsey Art and Gifts, Century 21, Town and Country Insurance, NuCara Pharmacy, Ackley State Bank, Reliance State Bank, Norsemen Realty, ACT Insurance, Eby Trailer, Gookin Ford, HPC Salon, Peterson Floors, Wheeler Auto, Penn Avenue Station, Story! Festival, Upper Story Studio, PDG Printing, Kitchen Collection, Bon Worth, VF Outlet and Famous Footwear.
