R-S student honored by Belin-Blank Center
Taryn Perry of Story City and a student at Roland-Story High School/Homeschool was among the 500 students from Iowa and throughout the nation who were recently invited to be honored at The University of Iowa Belin-Blank Center’s Recognition Ceremony. The ceremony was held on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the Iowa Memorial Union on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City.
Students were invited to be recognized by the Center for exceptional performance in the Belin-Blank Center student talent search, for receiving scholarships for Belin-Blank Center summer residential gifted programs, for being meritorious awardees at the 2014 Invent Iowa State Invention Convention, for being gold key awardees from the 2014 Scholastics Art and Writing program, for being a student research presenters at the 2014 Iowa Junior Science and Humanities Symposium or participants in the 2014 Secondary Student Training Program.
