R-S PTO Spring Plant Sale

The Roland-Story PTO in conjunction with Holub’s Greenhouse is sponsoring a bedding plant sale to benefit the elementary and middle schools. To order, please complete the order form link found below and return it to the school with payment by April 13, 2016. Roland-Story Color Run April 30

Roland-Story Student Council and HOSA will host a Color Run on Saturday, April 30th at 10 a.m. The race will begin at the high school and entrants must raise at least $30 to participate. This is a fundraiser for cancer research and Roland-Story. Participants can sign up at http://shop.schoolathon.org/183926.

Habitat for Humanity a finalist for national grant

The Central Iowa Habitat for Humanity is one of eight finalists in line for the Gerry Rauenhorst Building Community Award. The award winner will receive a $63,000 grant from the Opus Foundation. During the week of April 5 to 15 be sure to go online to www.opus-group.com to vote for the local Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa.

Municipal Electric Board Meeting

The Board of Trustees of the Story City Municipal Electric Utility will hold their next regular board meeting on Monday, April 18th, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the distribution building located at 11820 - 567TH Avenue, Story City.
