UNI names area students to fall 2020 semester Dean's List
Several students from the Story City Herald area were among those named to the fall 2020 semester Dean's List at the University of Northern Iowa. To be included on the list, a student must have earned a grade point of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while taking at least 12 hours of graded work during the semester.
Included on the Dean's List are Carter Greenfield, of Roland; Emily Ruben, of Roland; Ashley Webb, of Roland; Juliann Clark, of Story City; Carson Ehrenberg, of Story City; Seth Halleland, of Story City; Rachel Johnson, of Story City; Kaitlyn Kilstofte, of Story City; Amy Rathmacher, of Story City; Alayna Ringsby, of Story City; and Angela Schwartz, of Story City.
University of Northern Iowa awards degrees to fall grads
New alumni were added to the roster of graduates of the University of Northern Iowa . William McGraw, of Story City, was among the graduates. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance, financial management and real estate.
Simpson College fall 2020 Dean's List
Natalie Tryon, of Story City, has been named to the fall 2020 Dean's List at Simpson College. Tryon qualified for the academic honor by earning a minimum 3.70 grade point average during the semester.

Adam Tryon, of Story City, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines. To qualify for this academic recognition, students must attain a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.749, in their most recent semester, for a minimum of six credit hours.
