Another 14 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Story County; virus positivity rate at 4.7%

The Iowa Department of Public Health on Thursday was reporting another 14 COVID-19 cases and no new deaths in Story County.

The latest coronavirus numbers in Story County

The latest data as of 10 a.m. Thursday, compared to 10 a.m. Wednesday:

  • Confirmed cases: 10,463, an increase of 14
  • Deaths: 47, no increase
  • Total tested: 162,008
  • Total recovered: 10,038
  • Countywide 14-day positivity rate: 4.7%

How many have received COVID-19 vaccinations within Story County?

All Iowans ages 16 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Vaccine doses administered: 71,837
  • Individuals receiving first dose: 14,620
  • Individuals receiving second dose*: 28,216
  • Individuals received single-dose series: 1,129
