Roland-Story FFA participates in State Convention

The Roland-Story Biotechnology team of Amber Taylor, Grace Corcoran, Jaclyn Gessner and Claire Jonas who finished with a Gold Rating and were the 9th place team in the State.

Sixteen Roland-Story FFA members recently participated in the 2021 State FFA Convention in Ames.

Chapter members competed in the following activities and events: Dawson Chelsvig and Caden Sporleder served as chapter delegates; Grace Corcoran, Jaclyn Gessner, Claire Jonas and Amber Taylor competed in the "Ag Biotechnlogy contest," where they earned a Gold Rating and finished as the 9th place team in the state; Hannah Tice competed in the "Greenhand Quiz” general knowledge contest where they earned a Silver Rating; Lucas Wuebker, John Martin and William Licht competed in the Poultry Judging contest where they earned a Gold Rating and finished as the 13th place team in the state; Emilia Broich and Samantha Sanderson were a part of the State FFA Band; Jake Jennings competed in the Ag Sales contest and earned a Silver Rating; Zane Haglund and Nathan Faga served as chapter representatives and accepted chapter awards; and Maddy Stevenson was a State Officer candidate and was elected as the 2021-2022 State FFA Secretary.

The Roland-Story FFA Poultry Judging team that finished 12th in the State.  Team members were Lucas Wuebker, William Licht and John Martin.
