HPC Salon ribbon cutting held

The Story City Chamber welcomed new HPC Salon owner Joni (Mortvedt) Gorman with a ribbon cutting ceremony last Friday afternoon, Nov. 22. Joni (shown in center cutting the ribbon) recently purchased the salon from Christine Woolson, who owned and operated Ezina Salon for the past seven years. Gorman has been a professional stylist in Boone and Story County since 1981. Joni and Christine Christine attended PCI in Ames together in 1980-81 and have served many of the same clients. Also shown are various members of the Chamber Ambassadors, including Doug (right) and Brenda (left) Mortvedt, Joni’s brother and sister-in-law, holding the ribbon.
