On Friday (Aug. 8), three locals went to Marshalltown. Ryan Leeman got 9th in the stock car feature, BJ Johnson was scored 14th and Matt Lettow was scored in the 22nd spot in the sport-mod feature.

Saturday night (Aug. 9), seven locals went to Boone. Tim Barber did not qualify for the hobby stock feature, and Brad Ashburn did not qualify either. In the sport-mod feature Jesse McCallough got 21st, and BJ Johnson did not qualify for the feature. Ryan Leeman finished 8th in the stock car feature. Rob Jennings did not qualify for the feature in the modified class. Terry Sorenson was scored in the 18th spot for the mod-lite feature.

Sunday (Aug. 10), one local went to Stuart. Tim Barber was scored in the 13th position in the hobby stock feature.

Last Friday (Aug. 15) Brandon Leeman traveled to Marshalltown and placed 9th in the modified feature after running in the top four for most of the race.

On Saturday (Aug. 16) in Boone, Terry Sorenson took 19th in the mod-lites. BJ Johnson came in 4th in the sport-mod. Brandon Leeman did not qualify for the modified race. And Tim Barber took 21st in the hobby stock feature.

Just two more weeks until Super Nationals in Boone. Well over 800 drivers from 20 states and two provinces will be on hand. The action starts on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 1) and ends the following Saturday (Sept. 6).
