Weekly Central Iowa racing results

This past Saturday, Sept. 27, was more than likely the last race weekend for our local drivers. There were a fair amount of cars in each division. In the stock car division, Ryan Leeman ended his race career with an 8th place finish in the feature race. Brandon Leeman scored 18th in the modified feature. Jeremy Grady was 3rd in the late model feature. Matt Lettow came home in 2nd place (in what could be his last race of his career) and BJ Johnson was scored in 12th place in the sport-mod feature.

All of these drivers and crew members want to thank their sponsors, and everybody who came to watch and support them throughout the season. If it wasn’t for their sponsors and the people in the stands they wouldn’t be able to do what they do. They are already looking for sponsors for next year’s season.

I want to personally thank Paul (Clark) and Todd (Thorson) for posting these results on a weekly basis. I get these results online, so I also need to thank the respective tracks for posting their results. I also want to thank the R&B race team for the many years I have helped them. I have now chosen to step down and enjoy some time with my family. I will miss going to the races as often as I did, but family comes first. I will still try to report the results, but it might not be as frequent as it was this year.
