Co-ed golf meet held at Conrad

The Roland-Story golf teams took part in a co-ed meet last Tuesday (April 12), hosted by BCLUW and held at Oakwood golf course in Conrad.

“The meet went really well,” said boys’ coach Tyler Frederiksen. “It was an alternate shot tournament, and out of 13 medals, we came home with four, including a runner up finish.”

Cole Matheason and Susie Weaver teamed up for a 47; good for a second place finish. Will Halstead and Sydney Weaver finished with a 51 and a seventh place spot. Grant Waline and Sydney Mathis carded a 52 to come in ninth. And Will Larson and Callie Tystahl placed 11th, also shooting a 52.

Also competing for the Norse were Zach Hartzler and Brooke Ehrenberg, who shot a 58. And CJ Arnold and Jaeda Pitman posted a 59.

Other teams competing came from Dike-New Hartford, BCLUW, East Marshall and Jesup.
