Roland-Story J.V. rolls over CMB 48-0

The Roland-Story J.V. football team, rolled over CMB 48-0 last Monday night (Sept. 12). The Norsemen amassed 379 yards rushing, led by two 100 yard gainers Kyle Selby, 147 yards on 10 carries and three touchdowns, and Jacob Pitman, 116 yards on 11 caries and one touchdown. Koby Hassebrock added 57 yards on eight carries and one touchdown, followed by Tyler Risdal with two carries for 25 yards and Caleb Markwardt had eight yards on four attempts.

Defensively, the Norse were led by Carson Parker with six tackles. Jon Sobotka and Ethan Taylor each hauled down five CMB ball carriers. Aaron Gray had four tackles, and Sam Diehl and Killian Erickson each had three tackles.

“It was a well played game by our guys as a whole,” said Coach Colton Calvert. “Our run game was unstoppable, and our defense held the shut out by playing with intensity and good assignment football. We were the most physical team on the field.”
