Roland-Story girls punch ticket to state meet

Roland-Story earned a spot in the Class 2A state meet with a second-place finish at the Region 2 meet Monday.

The Norse shot 403, behind just first-place Kumper Catholic’s 375.

Kaitlyn Rahfeldt placed eighth with a 98 for Roland-Story.

The state tournament will be held May 29 and 30.

Roland-Story advanced to the second round of regionals with their play at Lake Panorama on May 14. The Roland-Story girls’ golf team shot a 416 at that meet to advance to the second round of Class 2A regional golf tournament.

Individual qualifiers were Susie Weaver with 100, Claire Wiseman 100 and Kaitlyn Rahfeldt 104. Sydney Weaver shot a 112, Allisyn Coghlan 118, and Alayna Ringsby 121.
