On April 17, Roland-Story senior Taryn Perry announced she will attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind., where she will run cross-country and track and field while studying chemical engineering.

Perry said she is grateful to have had the opportunity to run for Roland-Story and thanks the supportive coaches and teachers at R-S who have invested in her and encouraged her along the way.

Rose-Hulman, an NCAA Division III institution in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, recently made conference history by finishing 2017-18 with a “double triple crown” in cross-country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field championships in both the men’s and women’s competition.

Taryn’s parents are Travis and Theresa Perry, of Story City.
