DES MOINES — Roland-Story made short work of Saydel for a Heart of Iowa Conference volleyball road victory Sept. 24.

The Norsemen swept the Eagles, 25-7, 25-3 and 25-14 to put their record at 13-5 overall and 2-2 in the HOIC.

Roland-Story came up with 30 kills and only eight errors in 60 attacks. The Norsemen also had an impressive 17 aces on 68 of 73 serving and six blocks.

Madison Geise put up 16 assists, 10 kills and five aces, Madison Martindale six kills and two blocks, Juliann Clark five aces and five digs, Amy Rathmacher four kills and one ace and Ava Charlson 11 digs and four aces for Roland-Story. Megan Greenfield added three kills and two blocks, Emily Berggren two kills and one dig, Reece Johnson three aces, two kills and two digs, Reagan Vogelaar three assists and one ace and Reagan Barkema and Jadyn Nelson each chipped in one kill and block apiece.
